Luce likes hanging out with us outside when the weather is not too hot for him. Stacey is cooking up something good and Luce always likes the smell of food, even though he never gets any people food.

Luce is at the top of the stairs with Lyla and we are not sure if they should have been left alone for those few minutes. He has been told over and over again, no girlfriends in his room. Cane cativo!

Luce had an overnight guest and he wants you to think he did not have fun but he did.

She wasted no time making herself comfortable

She is used to sitting upfront in the car and since Luce always has the back, everyone had a place.

And with that, we wrapped up another fun time in the Sierras. Max is the only dog actually trying to make this a good picture.

Well, Luce thought he should have another try so here he is posing one last time at Donner Lake.

We went for a hike above Donner Summit which was great. Max ran ahead a little and when this picture was taken, he appeared to be trying to imitate a bear. If it was not for the long tail, I think he would have nailed it.

Luce ventured into the lake up to his chest but went no further. Max on the other hand went all the way in a got a good swim in.

Once Luce got tired, he decided to take a well deserved rest on a nice big rock.

He did stay down for long once Mama came by

We were out hiking in the Sierras and ended up going past where we were supposed to turn. While backtracking we came upon this scene which seemed unreal when this picture was taken.

A few seconds later a crew similar to ours came through.

I do not recall if there were 2 or 3 in their group. The great thing was we then knew the way to the lakes.

Yes, of course, Luce is the one on the lounge, under the umbrella. Although, Luce may be rubbing off on Max a little as he seems to be enjoying the shade also.

Luce decided to hang for a while out on the dock when meant time for his vest. His brother Max (forground) and his roomie Baron (right) can swim like fish so no worries if they dive to go for a swim at any time.

This year for Luce’s trip to the mountains to see his brother Max, we went to Donner Lake which is very close to Lake Tahoe. As you may or may not know, Luce never learned to swim so he is the one with the life vest.

Once all that water stuff was finally over, Luce got to do what he does best.
