Luce likes to sleep in the doorway alcove just outside my home office door. So I am just sitting in my office working and Luce starts snoring pretty loudly. I went to see what was going on and found him pressed against the door and 2 walls and still completely asleep.
As has been covered before, Luce likes to use my gym bag as a pillow in the back seat. He usually just pulls back when I come to get it out but this time it was a little different. He looked up without moving his head and had a look as if to say: “Please Don’t Take My Pillow”.
Luce was a bad dog. He likes cheese, and apparently any cheese, such as pub cheese with jalapeno. We happened to leave it on a low table and when we left the room, he decided to help himself. The loud licking sounds gave him away but not before he had a bunch. Being the stubborn dog that he is, he showed no remorse. In the pic below, he knows what remains of the tub of cheese is there and even tried to get a little more. Fortunately, it was a higher up on the counter so he couldn’t reach it. There did not seem to be any ill effects so maybe he is channeling our girl Sasha who had an iron stomach.
Now you might be thinking, he looks so innocent… but I know better. He actually couldn’t keep his cool as the temptation eventually became too great:
There must be something going on in Luce’s family because his brother Max just got in big trouble:
Here we have some live action of Luce chasing the stick and not wanting to let go. He has learned to “drop” it some of the time, but most of the time I count: uno, due, tre and he will let go by tre. Then, back to the game.
Luce likes to get comfortable on our bed. I would like to say, just when we are not in it, but oh yes, he likes to snuggle in with us there as well. Obviously to adults and a big dog don’t exactly fit well on a queen size bed. Here, Luce is taking a rest:
When all of the sudden he heard something:
Not sure what that was so I better get back to what I was doing:
When Stacey is not here, Luce hangs with me while I work in my home office. He spends most of his time under the desk at my feet. That is, until he gets restless. Then he might need some “tug-of-war” time, or maybe just some floor play. Other times he wants to go for a walk, play in the family room, go in the car, etc.. At those times, he leans on the door, which makes a distinctive sound, and waits like here:
This is a site dedicated to the best dogs ever. Of course we are referring to Bernese Mountain Dogs. Obviously this is an extremely biased opinion but we don’t care, this is our site.
